Property 1:

Every multiplication fact has two division facts.

Example 1:

Multiplication fact: 9 ⨯ 8 = 72

Division facts: 72 ÷ 8 = 9 and 72 ÷ 9 = 8

Property 2:

When any number is divided by 1 then the quotient is the number itself.

Example 2:

5 ÷ 1 = 5

24 ÷ 1 =24

762 ÷ 1 = 762

Property 3:

When any number is divided by itself then the quotient is always 1.

Example 3:

9 ÷ 9 = 1

45 ÷ 45 =1

887 ÷ 887 = 1

Property 4:

When 0 is divide by any number then the quotient is always zero.

Example 4:

0 ÷ 5 = 0

0 ÷ 53 = 0

0 ÷ 102 = 0
