To Find The Correct Value Of A Square Root Up To Certain Decimal Places
If the square root is required to correct two places of decimal, we shall find up to 3 places of decimal and then round it off to two places of decimal.
Similarly, suppose the square root is required correct to three places of decimal. In that case, we shall find up to 4 places of decimal and then round it off up to three places of decimal.
Ex 1:Find the square root of 3 correct to 4 decimal places
Sol:We can write 3 = 3.0000000000
Square root of 3 up to 4 decimal places.
=   1.73205 (up to 5 places of the decimal)
          =   1.7320 (correct to 4 places of the decimal)
Ex 2:Find the square root of 27 correct to 3 decimal places.
Sol:We can write 27 = 27.00000000
Square root of 27 up to 3 decimal places.
Square root of 27 up to 3 decimal places. =   5.1961 (up to 4 places of the decimal)
            =   5.196 (correct up to 3 places of the decimal)
